Day 25 - Shadows Of The Night (Pat Benatar)

You know me, I love my eighties mullet goddesses. Benatar is one of them. Too many hits to list, each one deserving of the title. In fact, one of the very first 45s I ever bought with my own allowance was Hit Me With Your Best Shot. And Love Is A Battlefield will always remain one of my all-time favorite songs by any artist ever, but Shadows Of The Night is when I first realized what a fucking amazing singer this woman was slash is. The song is a little repetitive, but that’s ok when it comes to Pat, because more Pat is better than less Pat. Plus it just kicks ass. Listen to it. It’s amazing. Close your eyes and feel it.
