I don’t know how I missed this one on the previous two years’ worth of countdowns. K-Tel Record in hand, hairbrush in the other, 13-year-old me popped that sucker on the turntable and played the grooves outta this record. And lip-sync’d every word like a Jr. Drag Supastar! Don’t tell me you don’t do the exact same thing any and every time you hear this song, ‘cause you know you do. And that’s what this song was meant for, to belt out as you sing along.
