More seventies! Love Will Keep Us Together is the ultimate sound of the seventies, in my opinion. We’re talking about the scissorific voice of Toni Tennille with her short ‘n sassy hair style, that took the country by storm. A beautiful contrast to her Captain who sat across in his silly sailor hat, looking lovingly at his wife as they let love (and dueling pianos) keep them together. Confident in her knowledge that she knows how to keep her man. Great lyrics. I LOVED the way she’d say, 'Whateva!' I challenge you to listen to this song and not sway or sing along.
