Day 39 - Love Will Lead You Back (Taylor Dayne) / Heart Of Stone (Taylor Dayne)

The first of these songs is a tough one. It’s a song I love but, it’s a song I allowed myself to sabotage the best thing in my world for something that was bad and wrong and already long dead. Her message was so pure and her voice is just so amazing, I was mesmerized by it. Love Will Lead You Back. I really believed it, because I wanted to. Even all the while holding something way more precious and real and right. Ah well, and so it goes. From the same album, Taylor Dayne released Heart Of Stone shortly afterwards. Maybe I should have believed a person could have a heart of stone and I wouldn’t have allowed myself to be so blinded. I loved this song almost as much as L.W.L.Y.B. But today when I hear them, I just think about what could have been.
