Day 24 - Steal Away (Robbie Dupree)

At the end of the seventies, there was a wave of what would eventually be called Yacht Rock. As that time period is one of my favorite times in music, because of all the angst in my early teens, I find joy and peace in songs like Steal Away by Robbie Dupree. To me it’s just a simple, delightful song that makes me happy. Not very much more to it, and not every song needs to have substance, right? Added bonus: he looks like every older guy on whom I’d had secret crushes back then.
